As the Family Accounting and Billing Manager, James maintains accurate accounting records for individuals & businesses in a timely and efficient manner. He oversees Staff Accountants on clients’ daily activity including bill payments, bank transaction downloads, reconciliations, preparation of monthly financials, & any ad hoc client reporting requests. In addition, James processes payroll for numerous clients including enrollments, terminations, remittances, & filings. James continues to support members of the JFS accounting team. Originally serving as an intern at JFS during his senior year of college, James was exposed to many aspects of the firm and therefore was able to bring valuable experience to his position.
James graduated Magna Cum Laude from Westminster College (PA) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Business Administration and a minor in Music. James is currently working towards his Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation. He is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants, Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs, and Ohio Society of CPAs.
James currently resides in Andover, Ohio. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his family and working on projects on their family farm.
